About the Role:
As the Head of Demand Generation, you will own and drive our demand generation strategy, and field marketing events to generate qualified leads, nurture existing leads, and accelerate pipeline growth. You’ll work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment, optimize campaigns, and execute successful in-person and virtual events to engage prospects and drive growth. Your leadership will be key in establishing data-driven, measurable results and ensuring operational excellence across all marketing channels. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a growing team, creating opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.
What you will do:
- Design and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies across digital channels, inbound and outbound marketing, and content-driven campaigns to drive high-quality leads into the sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire, nurture, and convert leads through digital and on-site events, email campaigns, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, and content marketing. Optimize lead nurturing efforts through marketing automation to drive engagement and improve conversion rates.
- Plan, execute, and optimize field marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, conferences, and regional meetups, to drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and build strong relationships with key prospects and customers.
- Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and smooth collaboration in generating high-quality leads and converting them into opportunities. Create and maintain clear lead handoff processes and follow-up strategies.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize demand generation campaigns across channels. Regularly measure and report on KPIs (e.g., lead generation, conversion rates, MQLs, pipeline contribution, and ROI) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand generation team. Provide guidance, career development opportunities, and a clear path for growth within the organization, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results
What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:
- Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in demand generation, marketing operations, or field marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership position.
- Demand Gen Expertise: Strong background in developing and executing demand generation strategies across digital, inbound, and outbound channels to drive high-quality leads and revenue.
- Marketing Automation & Operations: Deep experience managing marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Expertise in campaign management, lead nurturing, and reporting.
- Event Marketing: Proven experience in planning and executing successful field marketing events, both virtual and in-person, to drive brand awareness and generate leads. Comfortable managing all aspects of event marketing, from logistics to post-event follow-up.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills and experience using data to optimize campaigns and track performance. Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading, managing, and mentoring teams. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance and meet growth targets. Passion for developing talent and providing growth opportunities.

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $221,000 - $260,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
