About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer at Coco, you will be a key member of the team that designs and develops the electrical systems that power our robotic delivery vehicles. You will own projects including schematic capture, component selection, designing test fixtures and validating prototype builds. Collaborating closely with mechanical engineers, software engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our robots are equipped with reliable and efficient electrical systems that meet our high standards for performance and scalability. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the functionality and reliability of our robot fleets, driving Coco’s mission forward.
Note: This is an in-office role. Coco is an office-first, highly collaborative and cross-functional company. We are looking for someone who is excited about the energy, collaboration, and culture-building opportunities of an in-office work environment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study, or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, developing consumer, industrial, automotive, or robotics products
Proficiency in schematic capture and layout using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-speed computing systems and embedded firmware integration
Familiarity with wireless communication protocols and RF design
Experience with designing for manufacturability and reliability in high-volume production
Proven ability to lead testing, bring-up, and debugging of complex electrical systems
Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept through production, balancing technical rigor with cost and schedule constraints
