Title: Product Specialist Intern (Summer 2025)
Reports To: Peter Boshard Olson (Head of Customer Experience)
Location: Draper, UT (Mostly in person, some work-from-home)
Compensation: $20–$23/hour, depending on experience
Duration: Summer 2025 (exact dates flexible, but ideally starting 5/5)
About the Role
Join Jump as a Product Specialist Intern and help power our internal operations and customer systems during a critical stage of our company’s growth. You’ll work across teams and tools—including Salesforce, Stripe, and our own internal systems—to ensure Jump runs smoothly and our customers get the best experience possible.
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed generalist who loves moving fast, solving unstructured problems, and making a tangible impact. If you’re excited to learn how a fast-growing startup works behind the scenes—and you’re ready to work hard, think critically, and own real projects—this is the internship for you.
You’ll be directly contributing to live operations, product configuration, and internal process improvements from day one.
What You'll Do
Manually update and reconcile data across systems like Salesforce and Stripe to ensure internal consistency.
Check and configure customer accounts to make sure advisors are set up for success on Jump.
Own and execute ad hoc projects to streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency.
Identify and flag recurring issues or friction points in our workflows.
Collaborate closely with Finance, Customer Success, and Engineering to support Jump’s operations.
Maintain high standards for accuracy, speed, and follow-through in everything you touch.
About You
You are currently enrolled in college (no specific year required).
You are incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and precise.
You work fast, but you don’t cut corners.
You are intellectually sharp, absorb information quickly, and love to figure things out on your own.
You’re a self-starter who thrives with autonomy and responsibility.
You are willing to roll up your sleeves, learn new tools, and do whatever it takes to make the team better.
You are likely a college student at the University of Utah, BYU, or UVU (or another university in the area).
You are a top performer academically.
Bonus (but not required): Familiarity with finance, accounting, Salesforce, Stripe, SQL, or data tools.
