Lucid is seeking a dynamic and high-performing Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across Lucid. We manage all accounting for our four entities in the United States, The Netherlands, Australia, and Germany. We also partner cross-functionally to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Manage and reconcile numerous balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities
- Identify and resolve accounting inaccuracies or imbalances
- Assist with year-end and audit activities, including preparing audit schedules and providing documentation to external auditors
- Assist with financial statement preparation and and prepare flux analysis
- Provide support to accounting functions as needed
Requirements:
- CPA license
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Passion for working with emerging technologies with an ability to understand new technical concepts
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with zeal for taking ownership
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Out-of-the box and strategic thinker who operates with extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet aggressive deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Netsuite
- SaaS company experience
- Public accounting experience
