The Role

We’re hiring an Implementation Director to own the onboarding journey for new customers. This role is ideal for someone with a background in eCommerce operations or experience working with ERPs, OMSs, or logistics tools—and who knows how to guide brands through software rollouts, data setup, and operational change.

You’ll be the face of Luminous during the most critical phase of a merchant’s journey. From kickoff to go-live, you’ll lead implementation projects that ensure customers get up and running smoothly. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, product, and Account Managers to tailor implementations to merchant needs and set the foundation for long-term success.

What You’ll Do

• Lead implementation and onboarding for new merchants from kickoff to launch
• Serve as project manager across multiple stakeholders and systems
• Set up and configure accounts, workflows, integrations, and data imports
• Deliver training and documentation tailored to each merchant’s operations
• Translate operational complexity into actionable implementation plans
• Identify blockers early and proactively remove friction for go-live
• Gather feedback and collaborate with Product to improve onboarding flows
• Ensure a seamless handoff to the Customer Success team post-launch

You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Have 2–5 years of experience in BOTH:
• eCommerce operations (e.g. inventory, fulfillment, systems), or
• Implementing ERPs or operational platforms (e.g., NetSuite, ShipStation, Cin7, Brightpearl)
• Are a natural project manager—organized, communicative, and customer-driven
• Understand how systems like Shopify, Amazon, and 3PLs work together
• Enjoy breaking down complex backend workflows into manageable steps
• Thrive in dynamic environments and can handle multiple projects in flight
• Experience in SaaS or software onboarding is a plus—but not required
