ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Receiving Clerk, you serve as the critical first point of contact for all materials entering our facility. You are the guardian of our inventory integrity, ensuring that every component matches its documentation perfectly before it moves into our production ecosystem. This role requires an individual who balances physical stamina with a high degree of administrative precision. You will play a foundational role in our supply chain, ensuring that our internal teams have the accurate parts they need to build LVT’s life-saving technology.
This role is based in-office out of our Spanish Fork, Utah location.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely manage the unloading of incoming shipments from vendor trucks, ensuring professional coordination with logistics partners.
Conduct meticulous physical counts of all incoming packages, verifying contents against packing slips or purchase orders to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.
Serve as the primary liaison for the Parts Department by systematically auditing and processing all returned materials.
Execute accurate labeling protocols for all incoming components to maintain 100% traceability within the facility.
Efficiently transfer verified inventory to designated storage locations or production stages to maintain operational flow.
Perform visual quality inspections on incoming items for transit damage, reporting findings to management to mitigate supply chain risk.
Maintain rigorous documentation standards, ensuring all paperwork is signed, dated, and organized for digital entry.
Uphold a clean, organized, and safe loading dock environment to maximize efficiency and prevent workplace accidents.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Industry Experience: 1+ years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or high-volume warehouse environment preferred.
Technical Aptitude: Basic computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and navigate internal inventory management systems.
Mathematical Precision: Strong foundational math skills, including the ability to accurately audit and reconcile inventory counts.
Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with drivers and internal stakeholders.
Physical Resilience: Ability to remain on your feet for approximately 80% of the workday and perform manual material handling in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: A disciplined approach to work, ensuring that no discrepancy goes unnoticed during the intake process.
Safety Conscious: A proactive mindset regarding warehouse safety and the proper handling of materials.
