MX is looking for a hands-on, strategic, and innovative Compensation & Benefits leader to shape and scale our total rewards programs. In this role, you’ll lead a small but mighty team, ensuring competitive, equitable, and business-aligned compensation and benefits structures. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence company-wide rewards strategies, develop creative solutions, and mentor a growing team into top-tier compensation professionals.

What You’ll Do:
Shape & Lead Total Rewards Strategy – Design, implement, and optimize compensation, benefits, and equity programs in the U.S. and India.
Develop & Mentor a High-Performing Team – Guide a small but growing team, setting high standards and helping them develop into industry experts.
Manage Compensation Structures – Oversee global pay structures, job leveling, market benchmarking, and equity programs to ensure competitiveness.
Drive Compensation Cycles – Help lead our salary reviews, bonuses, equity grants, and promotions, ensuring fairness and business alignment.
Optimize Benefits Programs – Oversee design, administration, and vendor management of employee benefits, ensuring they remain competitive and cost-effective.
Leverage Data for Decision-Making – Utilize Workday and other data tools to analyze trends, make strategic recommendations, and ensure informed decision-making.
Ensure Compliance & Best Practices – Maintain regulatory compliance with labor laws, reporting requirements, and best-in-class compensation and benefits practices.
Be a Strategic Partner – Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and senior leadership to align total rewards with business priorities.
Oversee Total Rewards Operations – Manage 401(k) administration, including audits and compliance filings, maintain job structures and compensation grades to ensure market alignment, lead annual Radford survey submissions, and oversee the employee leave process to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in compensation and benefits leadership, including job leveling, market benchmarking, and pay equity.
Strong Workday experience – Proficiency in managing compensation and benefits within Workday or similar HRIS systems.
Analytical & problem-solving expertise – Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategy.
Leadership & Influence – Experience managing and developing teams, as well as working cross-functionally with senior leaders.
Deep understanding of global compensation – Knowledge of pay structures, executive compensation, equity programs, and regional market trends.
Bonus Points
Certifications such as CCP, CBP, SHRM-CP, or PHR.
Experience leading total rewards in a high-growth, tech, or fintech environment.

Compensation: Competitive base + bonus (OTE: $min - $mid)

Compensation
The expected earnings for this role could be comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions as applicable. The pay range for this role is $125,375.00-150,000.
This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
