Product Management at ObservePoint

We are a small, technically-savvy product team that works closely with engineering, design, and customer success to build the world’s best website scanning platform. Our platform audits the world’s biggest web sites for privacy compliance, analytics coverage, accessibility validation, performance monitoring, and more. Some of the world’s biggest brands, including half of the Fortune 100, use our product every day. We use AI tools to automate tedious tasks, build proofs of concept, and create documentation for engineers.

Why We Are Hiring

Due to the success and growth we’ve had at ObservePoint, we decided to invest even more into our product. This year, we are looking for a great product manager to help us extend our platform into new areas and add highly requested AI-powered features. These enhancements are big enough in scope that they will exceed the capacity of our current product and engineering team members. As a result, we are hiring more engineers and a product manager.

What You’ll Love About ObservePoint

At ObservePoint, we hire amazing people. You’ll enjoy working with smart, helpful co-workers.

We also invest in our people. In addition to working with top notch coworkers on a world-class product beloved by customers, you’ll get these perks:

  • Great health, dental, and vision insurance at low premiums
  • Healthy lifestyle reimbursement for gym memberships, personal fitness equipment, and more.
  • Monthly cell phone stipend.
  • Great 401(k) matching: when you put in 6%, we match 5%.
  • Weekly catered lunch in our office.
  • Quarterly team activities.
  • Paid sabbatical after 7 years.
  • Holiday office shutdown between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The Job

This is a hybrid remote and in-office role that requires at least one day per week in our Pleasant Grove office. We feel the best creative work is done in person.

You will report directly to CTO.

The following list describes how our product managers work. If this sounds like you, let’s talk!

  • Org: You will report directly to the CTO.
  • Scope: You own a significant area of the product end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through launch and iteration. As a small team, we often work across areas in the product, collaboratively.
  • Writing & Content: You
write great product specifications that give engineers and designers what they need to build with confidence. You write great public-facing documentation and create inspiring explainer videos about our products.
  • Customers: You conduct customer interviews, collect product feedback, and analyze product usage metrics to deeply understand our customers’ jobs to be done
  • Collaboration: You collaborate early and often with engineering. You don’t hand off PRDs and walk away. You discuss technical tradeoffs to make the best product decisions.
  • Go-to-Market: You run a company-wide go-to-market strategy for the products you launch, so everything we build gets adopted and loved. You help marketing, sales, and customer success to understand product changes before they ship.
  • Platform: You design generalizable solutions for customer problems, solving not only today’s customer problems, but an entire universe of problems that we can’t foresee.
  • Self-service: Customers use your designs without handholding from humans at ObservePoint. This includes great feature discovery and proactive UX.
  • Product-Led Growth: You know how to build products that sell themselves, guiding users through onboarding, expansion, and renewal.
  • Prioritization: You
make smart prioritization decisions on the product roadmap to maximize business results. You decide when to build new features, when to improve existing features, and when to fix bugs.
  • Expertise: You are willing and eager to become a domain expert. You are informed about topics like web privacy regulations, analytics tag governance, core web vitals, and accessibility standards with both customers and engineers.
  • AI: You embrace AI tools to automate tedious tasks and build amazing features powered by AI. You cut through the hype to get actual value from AI, both for our internal processes and for customers.
  • Creative: You are a maker at heart. You love creating things, at home and work, and you think of ways to improve the lives of our customers and team members.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management with B2B SaaS products: Designing products for business users is a craft, and we are not looking for a rookie.
  • Knowledge of technical web concepts: You don't need to write code, but you need to understand how the web works. Examples: cookies, tags, sitemaps, web vitals, redirects. You aren’t afraid to become a deep subject matter expert on technical web concepts.
  • AI productization experience: We understand that building AI into products is a new field. You are excited to build customer-facing products that are powered by AI. Not just using AI to do your job, but integrating AI within a custom-facing product. You understand evals, context window optimization, and model cost optimization. You have great taste on when to use (and not to use) AI to deliver great user experiences (hint: we aren’t looking for gimmicky chatbots).
  • Experience with PLG: We believe PLG will unlock our next iteration of growth. If you’ve built great B2B products that sell themselves, we definitely want to talk.

Preferred Qualifications

The most qualified applicants have experience in some of the following areas:

  • Web privacy and compliance: You are familiar with website consent management and web privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
  • Web analytics governance: You have implemented website analytics, tag management, or cookie governance. You are familiar with tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment, Tealium, or OneTrust.
  • Accessibility: You understand WCAG standards and how to design accessible web applications. Ideally, you’ve been through a VPAT or Section 508 audit for a B2B SaaS product.
  • Site performance and Web Vitals: You are familiar with how web site performance is measured, and how to improve it.
  • SEO/AEO: You understand search engine optimization and answer engine optimization (as much as anyone understands AEO in 2026). This isn’t to optimize our own website, but rather to build product features that help our customers optimize their websites.
  • Front-end testing and quality assurance: Experience with tools for automated front-end testing like Playwright, including no-code/low-code e2e testing tools.
