About the Role
Responsibilities
- Own and manage all outbound logistics for tools, parts, systems, and assets leaving the warehouse for installation, commissioning, and service.
- Act as the primary procurement agent for both Installation and Overwatch teams, ensuring timely acquisition of field-critical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain and monitor service kits, technician toolboxes, and emergency response stock to ensure field readiness at all times.
- Coordinate with machine shops, suppliers, and distributors for rapid fulfillment of service or install part needs.
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicle assignment, maintenance schedules, registration, insurance, and general upkeep.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate inbound/outbound material flow and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Create and manage field shipment manifests, labels, and tracking through internal and external logistics systems.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment deployed in the field, including serialized components, consumables, and temporary assets.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast part needs and implement restocking protocols based on install/service activity.
- Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations for all shipped materials.
- Serve as an on-call coordinator for urgent Overwatch part or logistics needs during active deployment windows.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organized field support area within the warehouse.
- Support field readiness through proactive communication and follow-up with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Complete other tasks as necessary.
Experience You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, or installation roles, with experience in electrical components and/or construction.
- Background working closely with technicians, engineers, or service teams to ensure material readiness.
- Strong understanding of outbound logistics processes, fleet maintenance best practices, and shipment documentation.
- Proficiency with tools like Slack, ERP systems, and shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight brokers).
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience coordinating loads with trucking and shipping companies
- Familiarity with preparing Bill of Lading and shipping documents
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift and move moderately heavy equipment and materials as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Experience working with suppliers, construction, and/or electrical distributors preferred.

Additional Details
- Must have the ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of standing, bending, and executing repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to read, identify, observe and recognize details, color-coding and fine print at close range on associated engineering drawings.
- Ability to don personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to, respiratory protective equipment with proper seal, coveralls, ear protection, gloves, eye protection & safety helmet.
- Ability to observe, detect and respond to audible and visual machine and equipment malfunction warnings.
- Ability to communicate information so others can understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must report to work reliably and with the ability to use full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute your job.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
