About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative on the MODS Sales Team, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers exploring Torus energy storage solutions for modular data center, industrial, and infrastructure applications. You’ll work closely with senior account executives and business development leads to identify, qualify, and nurture inbound and outbound leads — helping move opportunities through the early stages of the sales funnel. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build your sales career at a company manufacturing real energy infrastructure, with direct exposure to complex, high-value deals that support critical facilities and communities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads across email, phone, and web channels
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and cold outreach to identify new opportunities
- Research target accounts and contacts to support the business development team
- Schedule discovery calls and product introductions for senior sales staff
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records in the CRM (HubSpot)
- Collaborate with the MODS Sales Team to support pipeline growth and outreach campaigns
- Communicate Torus products and value propositions clearly and professionally
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Required Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound outreach and handling objections
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn technical products and energy industry concepts
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Exposure to energy, infrastructure, real estate, or industrial sales
- Experience using prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar
- Prior SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience

Location Hybrid — South Salt Lake Headquarters, with some remote flexibility.
Schedule Full-Time, Salaried
Compensation $65,000-85,000 (Note: We have the flexibility to hire at different levels, which may impact the corresponding pay range.)

Physical Requirements
- Constantly operates a computer and other peripheral office equipment such as a printer or mouse.
- Ability to communicate information so others can understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must report to work reliably and with the ability to use full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute your job.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
- When on the production floor, required to don personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to ear protection, gloves, eye protection and/or safety helmet.
- When on the production floor, ability to observe, detect and respond to audible and visual machine malfunction warnings.
